BEFORE YOU BROWSE FOR, DOWNLOAD AND/OR INSTALL VN PATCHES…
While links to the patches are provided or sourced by VNDB, the VN/patch publisher, and/or other sites, please ensure that the links and/or patches you’re accessing are safe and genuine before attempting to download and install them on your VNs. If patch installation instructions are available, read and follow them thoroughly before proceeding to avoid the risk of breaking your VN or in worst cases, your system. In some cases, patch downloads and/or installations may be blocked by your browser and/or your antivirus software (Windows Defender or 3rd party providers).
If you’re sure that the patch is safe and genuine, and you’ve verified that the patch is a false positive, you can temporarily disable your browser’s security features or antivirus software. Alternatively, you can configure your antivirus software to ignore the patch you’re downloading and/or installing. In addition, making full backups of your VNs (if they’re DRM-free) and your system (if able) is recommended before attempting to install patches. You’re solely responsible for knowing and understanding the potential risks and dangers when downloading and installing VN patches, especially those from unofficial sources. You’ve been warned.
Note: Only titles that are rated “All-Ages” up to “M-Rated” are listed here and thus, not all titles from the catalogue will be visible. As a result, some links that lead to AnISO/ViNISO catalogue entries or external sites are also removed as it leads to content that are for adult audiences. To see the full list and restore affected links, visit the “Otaku Mode” version of this website/page.

| EVP38 / MULTI-38-LTB-EXTPATCH | Little Busters!×CG De-Cropper PatchPatch Info:
What Does This Patch Do?This patch de-crops CGs so you can see them entirely while playing the VN, since by default the VN crops the CGs so not the entire CG is shown Most or some (if not all) info and/or links from this ViNISO entry are pulled from VNDB. | Patch Links×Reference & Download Link(s):Most or some (if not all) info and/or links from this ViNISO entry are pulled from VNDB. | Installation Guide×REMINDER: Ensure to backup the VN’s files, including your save files, before installing any of the patches in case you want to revert the VN back to its original state.Patch Installation GuideDownload the zip file that contains the patch. Locate the folder that has the Little Busters! English Edition executable (which should be labelled as “LITBUS_WIN32.exe”). This will be your Steam folder followed by “steamapps\common\Little Busters! English Edition”. From the downloaded zip file, unzip it to extract the D3D11.dll file, then copy that file into the Steam folder that contains the VN’s files. In the event that you want to uninstall the patch and restore the VN’s original state, simply delete the D3D11.dll file from the “Little Busters! English Edition” folder. IMPORTANT NOTE FOR SYSTEMS EQUIPPED WITH NVIDIA GPUSThis patch doesn’t work on systems using NVIDIA GPUs. Fortunately, there’s a setting in the NVIDIA control panel that makes the patch work. The setting to enable is “Multi-Frame Sampled AA (MFAA)”. This extra step is only required on systems with NVidia GPUs; if your system is using an AMD or Intel GPU, you can safely ignore this. How to enable MFAA:
What does this do and why it’s needed: the actual MFAA feature has no effect on Little Busters VN itself. However, enabling MFAA makes NVIDIA’s driver disable a feature (driver command list support) which is incompatible with the patch. |

FAQ
The type(s) of VN patches available to download and install depend on the VN’s language/localization, which are listed below. Note that by default the VN patches are for English or Japanese localized VNs only. However, if they’re compatible with other languages/localizations then the first attribute on the patch ID will change to [MULTI] (commonly seen with Steam versions of VNs). The type(s) of VN patches that are available to download and install can also be found under the Patch ID Guide for either VN patch catalogue.
Patch types for English localized (ENL) VNs:
- [RESPATCH]: Content restoration patches that restore cut content and/or features (those only found in the original version) to any other version of a VN (primarily Steam and DRM-free ENL/JPL versions)
- [EXTPATCH]: Miscellaneous patches (typically quality of life/QoL patches) that add or remove features, and modify the VN (either its assets or code) to improve visual/auditory aesthetics, or fix bugs, errors and typos; these patches include (but are not limited to):
- Music Restoration Patches
- Opening/Ending Movie Subtitle Patches
- Append Patches
- Dialogue Update Patches
- 1440p Resolution Patches
Patch types for Japanese localized (JPL) VNs:
- [RESPATCH]: Content restoration patches that restore cut content and/or features (those only found in the original version) to any other version of a VN (primarily Steam and DRM-free ENL/JPL versions)
- [EXTPATCH]: Miscellaneous patches (typically quality of life/QoL patches) that add or remove features, and modify the VN (either its assets or code) to improve visual/auditory aesthetics, or fix bugs, errors and typos; these patches include (but are not limited to):
- Music Restoration Patches

- [ENGPATCH…]: English translation patches that translates the Japanese text (which may also include the VN’s UI and other elements or assets such as CGs) from a JPL ViNISO to English; there are different types of translation patches that can be appended to this attribute, which are the following:
- […COMP]: These are complete English translations (TL) that have gone through both translation checks (TLC) and editing (ED)
- […BETA]: These are complete English translations (TL) that are still going through translation checks (TLC) and/or editing (ED)
- […ALPHA]: These are complete English translations (TL) that haven’t gone through translation checks (TLC) and/or editing (ED)
- […PART]: These are partial English translations (TL) that have or haven’t gone through translation checks (TLC) and/or editing (ED)

- […AIGN]: These translation patches used AI to provide the English translations (TL) of the VN; these likely haven’t gone through translation checks (TLC) and/or editing (ED) by humans and therefore aren’t guaranteed to be accurate when applied to the VN; only apply these patches if there are no human-made translation patches available for the VN
That depends on where the VN patches you’re looking to download and install on your VNs are from. If the VN patches directly come from VN publishers or distributors, then these are considered official patches and are guaranteed to be safe for download and installation on your VN and/or your system. However, if the VN patches come from other sites and sources (they’re NOT from VN publishers or distributors), then these are considered unofficial patches and they’re NOT guaranteed to be safe for download and installation on your VN and/or your system. Downloading and/or installing unofficial patches may have a chance to be blocked by your web browser and/or Windows Defender (or 3rd party antivirus software). If you’re worried about viruses and malware infecting your system, you’re highly encouraged to NOT download and install unofficial patches and instead stick to official patches directly from VN publishers or distributors.
If you have a genuine reason to download and install unofficial patches, kindly proceed with an abundant amount of caution and ensure that you’ve backed up both your VNs and your system (if you’re able) in case something goes wrong. Regardless of the type and source of the patch you’re downloading, make sure to thoroughly read the instructions (if they’re provided) for installing the patch to avoid breaking the VN you’re installing the patch to, and in worst cases your system. If you have any questions and doubts about installing official patches, contact the VN publisher(s) or distributor(s). For questions about and assistance with unofficial patches, there’s a chance that you’re on your own when it comes to either though in many cases, they have instructions or guides provided by the patch developer or publisher, or by other sources such as forum sites and posts, Discord servers, and others. You can also refer to VNDB for detailed information about the patches you’re looking to download and install on your VNs. With all that said, you’re solely responsible for knowing and understanding the potential risks and dangers when downloading and installing VN patches, especially those from unofficial sources. You’ve been warned.
In most cases, the provided links to the patches in the catalogues are safe to use, as I’ve tested all the provided links myself and they’re verified to be accessible and (in most cases) safe. However, there will be links that are considered unsafe though the fault solely lies with the (3rd party) site host for not properly doing their due diligence of securing their site and typically there’s nothing that can be done about this. To warn you about which links and sites are unsafe, I’ve provided the “INSECURE SITE WARNING” tag next to the affected links and if necessary, additional precautions and warnings are also found next to the links. Your web browser, Windows SmartScreen or antivirus software may also warn you about this in case I’ve forgotten to add the tag next to an affected link. It’s highly recommended to use any web browsing safety measure available to you before proceeding to any insecure site. In case a link becomes unavailable or defunct, an alternative link will be provided or if no alternative links are available, the link will be removed. You’re solely responsible for knowing and understanding the potential risks and dangers when browsing unsafe links or insecure sites for VN patches, especially those from unofficial sources. You’ve been warned.
To respect the rights of the hard-working developers and publishers of all VN patches listed on the catalogues, I don’t provide nor host VN patches/patch files on the site. I only provide links to the VN patches, which include reference links (patch information) from VNDB and from supplementary sites or sources, installation guide links (from patch developers and publishers or other sites and sources), and the download links themselves from external sources and sites (where the patches are provided or hosted). The only exception to this is when a VN patch is no longer available from any site or source and an exact copy of that patch was saved in the Yggdrasil Server. In that case, the patch will be provided or hosted on the site via a download link. In doing so, I’ll also provide proper recognition to the developers and publishers of the patch, iterating that it’s solely their work and I wasn’t involved in any part of it whatsoever.
